Elegant paar art deco kandelaars in helder en mat kristal, toegeschreven aan Val Saint Lambert (België), circa 1930–1950.
De kandelaars tonen twee verschillende  figuren: één met ingetogen houding die doet denken aan een Madonna-voorstelling, en één meer klassieke figuur die vermoedelijk Christus afbeeldt, met een uitstralend hart. Beide uitgevoerd in gesatineerd kristal met helder geslepen details en een rijk geprofileerde voet.

De combinatie van mat en transparant glas zorgt voor een verfijnd lichtspel, typisch voor de Belgische art deco-productie van het interbellum.
Een bijzonder en zeldzaam visueel duo – elegant, verfijnd en met een sterke decoratieve uitstraling.

Goede staat, geen barsten of breuken. Lichte gebruikssporen aan de onderzijde, passend bij de leeftijd. Zie foto’s voor een eigen indruk van de kwaliteit.
