Piękna,duża muszla Charonia variegata, tryton atlantycki lub trąbka atlantycka, to gatunek drapieżnego ślimaka morskiego, mięczaka ślimaka morskiego z rodziny Charoniidae, ślimaków trytonowych, muszli trytonowych lub trytonów. Ta stożkowa powłoka ma wydłużoną i ostro zaostrzoną iglicę bez żadnych wypustek. Dolne spirale są nierównomiernie spuchnięte z żylakiem i wybrzuszeniem nad szwem. Szew następnie opada po nierównej spirali. Kalus ciemieniowy jest wyłożony wąską, ciemną wargą wewnętrzną, pokrytą regularnie rozmieszczonymi, brązowymi, żebrowymi fałdami. Zewnętrzna warga jest ząbkowana, ale mniej wysunięta i ząbkowana z około 10 parami żeberkowatych zębów nałożonych na kwadratowe, ciemnobrązowe plamy. Kolor muszli jest cętkowany w odcieniach od kremowobiałego do żółtego z brązowymi znaczeniami. Wnętrze dużego otworu jest pomarańczowo-różowe, a wnętrze jest białe.Wymiary-100/130/255mm.Gorąco polecam kolekcjonerom i dekoratorom wnętrz.
