Élégant centre de table, en métal plaqué argent et bois exotique, illustrant la transition entre les lignes souples des années 1920 et la rigueur géométrique du style Art Déco des années 1930, de l’orfèvre Lyonnais Bouillet Bourdelle. 

La pièce reprend les codes naissants du style moderne : volumes épurés, pans coupés, stries verticales, tandis que les prises, finement ourlées, évoquent encore le raffinement du modèle Papyrus de Puiforcat (1929).

Ensemble en excellent état.

L’orfèvre Bouillet Bourdelle est un des orfèvres les plus actifs de l’Art Déco en France, connu pour avoir fabriqué pour le Bon Marché, les pièces de la ligne Pomone. 

Cette pièce appartient à un ensemble de trois autres pièces de service (centre de table, coupe et légumier), visibles sur la dernière photo.
