Set of 6 Sterling Silver Spoons – Birmingham 1937 – in Original Murdock’s Cape Town Case

Elegant set of six sterling silver (.925) spoons, each fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1937, and retailed by Murdock’s, Cape Town, South Africa.
A beautiful example of British pre-war craftsmanship with colonial provenance.

Each spoon bears clear English silver hallmarks:
   •   Anchor – Birmingham Assay Office
   •   Lion passant – Sterling silver (.925)
   •   Date letter “V” – 1937
   •   Maker’s mark visible on each piece (see photos)

Good antique condition.
Light surface wear consistent with age and polishing.
Hallmarks are clearly legible.
Original case intact, with minor signs of age to the silk lining; hinge and clasp function well.
