This famous Japanese Steam locomotive 2-C-1 is manufactured by Adachi, a Japanese Manufacturer of High End Brass Locomotives. This model is from 1st owner, bought on a business trip in Japan. Unfortunately the box did not fit in the suitcase, for that reason the model will be shipped in a replacement packaging. The locomotive is in excellent condition and runs very well (Japanes precision) The build in ESU decoder gives it superb control over speed, e.g. slow accelleration and decelleration (CV values are adjustable with CV 3 and CV4) The model has been displayed most of the time in a glass showcase and did hardly see any rail. In other words: the motor and gears are in new condition. The model is sold as shown, photos attached are part of the description. Reason for sale is relocation, a smaller home, lack of space.
