Descrizione:
Raffinato bastone da passeggio con manico ricurvo in metallo argentato finemente inciso a motivi fogliati e puntinati, tipici dello stile Art Nouveau. Il fusto è realizzato in legno laccato color mogano, con punta ferrata e terminale in gomma.
Un oggetto elegante e dallo stile intramontabile, espressione della moda maschile e femminile tra la fine del XIX e i primi decenni del XX secolo.

Condizioni:
Buone condizioni generali, con lievi segni del tempo e piccole usure alla vernice del fusto. Terminale inferiore con tracce d’uso. Nessuna rottura strutturale.

Curiosità:
I bastoni con manico cesellato erano accessori distintivi utilizzati da signori e dame dell’alta società; spesso nascondevano al loro interno piccoli meccanismi o funzioni decorative, ma anche semplicemente riflettevano il gusto artistico del periodo Liberty.
