BUSH - TR82 Transistor radio

Original BUSH radio, released in May 1959. One of the best selling transistor radios in England in the early 1960 's. The "C" in the model number stands for the chrome version with dark blue sides. Model B is made of brass with brown sides. Designed by designer David Ogle. The case is the same as the model MB60 from 1957, then equipped with tubes. Transistors: OC44, 2 × OC45, 4 × OC72. The power source is a 9V PP9 block battery. Reception range: medium wave and long wave. The radio was re-released in 1998 as TR82 / 97 (opposite), now also equipped with FM. It is not a "faithful copy". No parts can be used to restore an original radio and the sound quality is extremely poor. Tested and fully operational.
