Franse Art Nouveau plantentafel – ca. 1890–1910 – handgesneden hout met rood verzonken marmeren blad

Sierlijke Franse plantentafel uit de Art Nouveau-periode, circa 1890–1910.
Het meubel is vervaardigd uit fijn handgesneden hout met vloeiende, organische lijnen en opengewerkte motieven, typerend voor de natuurlijke elegantie van de Jugendstil.

Het tafelblad is prachtig afgewerkt met een dieprood verzonken inzet, wat een rijk contrast vormt met de warme houttint. De poten lopen sierlijk gebogen uit en tonen verfijnd snijwerk met krul- en bladmotieven.

De tafel verkeert in mooie authentieke staat, met lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd en een klein schadeplekje aan de bovenzijde (zie foto’s).

• Breedte: 40 cm

Een bijzonder decoratief en karaktervol object dat perfect past in zowel een klassiek als een eclectisch interieur.
