A beautiful and rare discontinued tea/coffee breakfast set by Goebel. This set includes: the teapot with lid 18 x 23 cm 2 teacups 7 cm tall and 9 cm in Ø 2 saucers 14,5 cm in Ø 2 snack plate 19 cm in Ø Wallis Pattern, handpainted. The Country shape impresses with its rustic but elegant design. Introduced early 1970s. A beautiful color combination was chosen for the Wallis decor. The warm brown (amber) basic tone harmonizes with the darker brown and the "blue-gray green" of the decors in its own way .. It brings cosiness and a country house atmosphere into the house and in summer on the terrace and garden table! ----- The Goebel company was founded in 1871 by Franz Detleff and Wilhelm Goebel. Oeslauer Porzellan Manufactur (OPM) was the original Goebel factory which opened in 1878 in Oeslau-Rodental near Coburg, Germany. In 1893 Wilhelm Goebel took sole control of the company. Until 1972 the company's copyright stamp included "by W. Goebel". The Olesauer references in the backstamps of our collection of Goebel "Wallis" dishes refer to the original Goebel factory and reflect the company's emphasis on its history on its 100th anniversary in 1971 ----- All parts are in evelent condition - was not in use.
