Caol Ila 25-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Introducing the unique single malt whiskey Caol Ila 25-year-old, from a distillery on the island of Islay in Scotland, founded in 1846 and belonging to the Diageo group. This edition, bottled in 2015 (based on the code of the Polish excise stamp 15/6BPY2 and the style of the packaging before the 2016 redesign), matured for 25 years in American and European oak barrels, which gave it an elegant balance between subtle peat and sweetness. With a power of 43% ABV and a capacity of 0.7 litres, it is a limited edition introduced in 2010 as a permanent part of the core range of the distillery, valued for its delicate character among intense Islay malts.

The aroma of this whiskey is complex and tempting: sweet and spicy with notes of dried fruits such as pears and apricots, combined with lemongrass, delicate peat, brine and anise, and when water is added, the woody accents of polished oak are revealed. In the mouth, it delights with its richness and creaminess - slightly buttery, with toffee, caramel sweetener, roasted almonds, dark chocolate, oak bitterness, sea salt and subtle peat smoke, creating a harmonious, healing depth with iodine accents. The finish is long and soft, with juicy fruits, oak bitterness and distant notes of peat and salty sea breeze, leaving a sweet-drying impression.

This bottle in the original black box and with the Polish excise mark is the perfect specimen for collectors and connoisseurs, offering the refined Islay flavour in the classic pre-2016 form. Perfect condition, no signs of wear, with intact plug and labelling.
