Raro modello di orbita terrestre motorizzato, probabilmente di produzione tedesca (attribuibile a Leybold-Heraeus), databile alla prima metà del XX secolo.

Utilizzato in ambito scolastico come strumento didattico per illustrare i moti della Terra e le costellazioni zodiacali.

Struttura in metallo e legno con disco zodiacale illustrato in carta stampata. Completo della base con motore elettrico e cablaggio originale.

Mancano la lampadina centrale (Sole) e l’asta con il globo terrestre, oltre alle piccole sfere di Mercurio, Venere, Marte e Luna, come documentato in modelli analoghi conservati in musei italiani.

Segni d’uso, leggere abrasioni e un’area centrale con residui di colla, ma nel complesso ben conservato e strutturalmente stabile.

Non testato per motivi di sicurezza.

Oggetto di grande valore storico e decorativo, ideale per collezionisti di strumenti scientifici o arredi industrial vintage.

Rare motorized Earth orbit model, probably of German manufacture (attributed to Leybold-Heraeus), dating from the first half of the 20th century.

Used in educational settings as a didactic instrument to illustrate the Earth’s motion and the zodiac constellations.

Metal and wood structure with a printed paper zodiac disc. Complete with base, electric motor, and original wiring.

The central bulb (Sun) and the rod with the globe of the Earth are missing, as well as the small spheres representing Mercury, Venus, Mars and the Moon, as documented in similar models preserved in Italian museums.

Shows signs of use, minor abrasions and a central area with glue residue, but overall well preserved and structurally solid.

Not tested for safety reasons.

A piece of great historical and decorative value, ideal for collectors of scientific instruments or vintage industrial furnishings.
