Expressief beeld van Maria van de Eeuwigdurende Bijstand met het Kind Jezus, omstraald door een vergulde achtergrond met twee aarts-engelen. Maria draagt een kroon en een mantel in rijke kleuren van rood en blauw, terwijl het kind Jezus eveneens gekroond is en in haar armen rust. De ster op haar hoofddoek en het kruisvormige motief op haar kleed verwijzen naar haar rol als middelares en koningin van de hemel. De compositie is geïnspireerd op het beroemde Byzantijnse icoon dat symbool staat voor troost en bescherming.

Hoogte 37 cm. In goede staat met enkele kleine gebruikssporen en verfslijtage.
