I am presenting for auction two bottles of Johnnie Walker Red Label Old Scotch Whisky. This bottle, with its label listing awards from cities such as Sydney (1880), Paris (1885), Adelaide (1887), Melbourne (1881), Dunedin (1890), Jamaica (1891), Kimberley (1892) and Brisbane (2897, appears to be an older edition of the whisky, possibly from the 1950s to 1970s.

Characteristics of the Old Bottle:
Johnnie Walker bottles are known for their square shape, introduced in 1870, which allowed more bottles to fit in transport boxes and reduced breakage.

The slanted label, at a 24-degree angle, has been a characteristic of the brand since 1877.
The "Striding Man" logo, created by Alexander Walker, was introduced in the same year as the Red Label, in 1909.
Johnnie Walker Red Label is one of the best-selling and most widely distributed whiskies in the world, known for its vibrant and smoky flavor.

The bottle is actually an older version, with details such as the "Old Scotch Whisky" label and the mention of "WALKER & SONS LTD., KILMARNOCK, SCOT".

Producer: John Walker & Sons, currently part of Diageo.
Origin: Scotland. The brand was founded in Kilmarnock in 1820.
Johnnie Walker Red Label is a blend of up to 30 malt and grain whiskies. It is known for being spicy, with notes of cinnamon, pepper, vanilla, and a fruity touch of fresh apple or pear, finishing with a persistent smoky aftertaste. It is considered a versatile whisky, frequently used in cocktails and mixes.
