Prachtig geperst glazen suikerpotje met deksel, vervaardigd door het gerenommeerde Belgische kristalhuis Val Saint Lambert rond 1913. Het stuk behoort tot het “Autoval”-decor, herkenbaar aan het geometrisch lijnenspel en de gestileerde art-deco-achtige motieven die typisch zijn voor het vroege 20e-eeuwse ontwerp van de manufactuur.

Het potje heeft een rijk geslepen en geperst reliëfpatroon met strakke, symmetrische lijnen die samenkomen in een stervormige bloem aan de onderzijde. De bijpassende deksel sluit mooi aan en is bekroond met een sierlijke knop in druppelvorm.

Dit is een zeldzaam stuk en een mooi voorbeeld van Belgisch glasontwerp uit het begin van de 20e eeuw — een elegant verzamelobject of stijlvolle aanvulling op een klassieke serviescollectie.

Het potje met deksel is in uitstekende staat. Hier en daar is een luchtbel of een glasdraad.
