Direttamente dalla Space Age, il "Phono Boy", ideato per Grundig dal designer Mario Bellini.
Il design semplice e funzionale e i materiali di produzione (plastica in ABS resistente all’impatto), lo hanno reso un oggetto iconico.  
Nato nel 1968 con il nome "GA 45 Pop giradischi portatile", grazie alla collaborazione fra l’architetto Bellini e la ditta produttrice Minerva, divenne, nel 1969, "Phono Boy", quando l'azienda venne ceduta alla Grundig che continuò a produrlo come “Phono Boy” con le stesse caratteristiche.
Il mangiadischi è dotato di manico in acciaio cromato sul quale è riportata la scritta “GRUNDIG PHONO BOY”, di rotella per la regolazione del volume e di due tasti laterali che permettono l’aperura del vano batterie.
L’alimentazione è fornita da due batterie piatte da 4,5 volt.
In ottimo stato di conservazione, presente qualche lieve segno d’usura.
Dimensione: 22x20x8 cm.
