Zhu Chen

Erg mooie plantentafel (bijzettafel/piëdestal). De tafel is gemaakt van eikenhout. Hij weegt 4,5kg, is 67cm hoog en het blad is ongeveer 27cm x 27cm. De tafel dateert van de jaren '70 of '80 van de vorige eeuw. Het is een tafel die qua stijl is geïnspireerd op de klassieke stijl. Je zou het Art Deco kunnen noemen, maar daar is hij iets te frivool voor, en voor Art Nouveau is hij iets te strak.
De tafel is nog in uitstekende conditie, met hier en daar wat lichte en logische gebruikssporen (zoals slijtage en krasjes in het vernis), maar niet alleen ziet de tafel er nog heel representabel uit, ook is hij nog 100% stabiel, met geen enkele wiebel in de verbindingen. Je zou er bij wijze van spreken een olifant op kunnen laten rusten.

Het eikenhout heeft een mooie tekening. Het hout is half-kwartiers gezaagd, waardoor je mooie 'vlammen' ziet in het hout (zie foto's). De tafel kan als plantentafel worden gebruikt, maar ook als bijzettafel of piëdestal (zie foto's). In elke inrchting is deze tafel een mooi passend en functioneel meubelstuk. Omdat de tafel redelijk hoog is, is hij bijzonder geschikt voor een plant met hangende takken en bladeren.

Deze plantentafel wordt zorgvuldig ingepakt en verzekerd verzonden.
