Light porosity and a few minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine. Provenance: ex Fritz Kuenker auction The interesting thing about the facing head hemidrachms of Larissa is the fact that most are found in quite bad condition - this piece is actually surprisingly nice! See also CNG 73 (13 September 2006) 186, The arrangement of the reverse legend is indicative of the early date of this hemidrachm. When the “run of the mill” pretty facing heads of the late group make their appearance, the reverse legend always starts at the top and the ethnic stays that way until the series end.
