Een Chinese verte-Imari theebus met een wapenschild, voor de Portugese markt, Kangxi periode, met een verguld messing deksel .

Het wapenschild is dat van Sampaio e Melo. 

Vergelijk een soortgelijk rechthoekig theeblik (ook zonder deksel) met het wapenschild van Sampaio e Melo, nu in het Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, Lissabon, afgebeeld in de tentoonstellingscatalogus Caminos da Porcelana: Dinastias Ming e Qing, Lissabon, 1998, catalogusnr. 45. 
Zie ook de opmerking bij catalogusnr. 44, waar wordt vermeld dat het wapen door Nuno de Castro is toegeschreven aan Francisco José de Sampaio Melo e Castro, 11e heer van Vila Flor, 66e gouverneur en 40e onderkoning van India van 1720 tot 1723. 

Volgens Luís Ferros zijn deze serviezen zeer waarschijnlijk in opdracht gemaakt door António Corte Real de Sampaio, 2e Morgado de Santa Cruz, of door zijn zoon Manuel Corte Real de Sampaio. Volgens Maria Antónia Pinto de Matos kunnen de serviezen echter niet in opdracht van António Corte Real de Sampaio zijn gemaakt, aangezien ze uit het begin van de 18e eeuw dateren.
