Pallette Design - Verner Panton - Candlestick Lighting Stairs - Steel
Originally designed in 1973 as sitting stairs, a sculptural furniture seating object in the form of stairs which could be placed against the wall. The sitting stairs were reproduced later, by palette design, in a miniature version as “lighting stairs” now acting as candleholder with 4 steps. Lighting stairs are made of steel and count 4 steps, blue, purple, red and orange, mounted on a chromed steel bottom plate; each step has a cavity for a standard tealight on top of a loose disc in the same colour.
