Vintage Delft-Style Blue and White Faience Vases with Parrot Finials – Set of 4

A charming set of four hand-painted Delft-style faience vases made in Holland, early 20th century. The set includes two tall trumpet vases and two large baluster vases with lids, each topped by a sculpted parrot finial holding a ball in its beak.

Decorated in rich cobalt blue on a white tin-glazed ground, each vase features stylized floral scrolls, exotic landscapes, and intricate decorative borders. The blue and white palette and octagonal forms are inspired by 17th- and 18th-century Dutch Delftware, itself influenced by Chinese export porcelain and Italian majolica.

The parrots, vivid and whimsical, add a sculptural element that elevates the set from simple pottery to distinctive decorative art. Whether displayed as a centerpiece or on a mantel, these vases bring timeless charm and a touch of European tradition to any interior.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition with minor wear, small glaze losses, and light age-appropriate patina. No major cracks or structural damage observed. All four pieces are complete and display well.
