Marine Chronometer A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte – ca. 1948 – Roman Numerals – ½ Second Subdial Offered for sale is a highly collectible marine chronometer made by A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte, dated ca. 1948. This timepiece is based on the famous German Einheitschronometer, originally developed during WWII. It features a 60-second subdial with a ½-second advancing second hand – ideal for precise celestial navigation.
