 Description de l'Objet
Magnifique statuette animalière en argent massif français, représentant un chien de race (probablement un Cocker Spaniel ou un Épagneul de chasse) dans une pose réaliste et attentive. Cet ornement de bureau témoigne de l'art du travail de l'argent de la Belle Époque.

La finesse du détail dans le pelage et la musculature met en évidence la qualité de la fabrication. L'objet, d'un poids conséquent, est un bel exemple de l'art figuratif français de la fin du XIXe siècle.

La pièce est authentifiée par la présence des poinçons de garantie et de maître-orfèvre français :

Poinçon de Garantie : Poinçon au Sanglier (rectangle aux coins coupés) – Garantissant l'argent de second titre (800/1000e), typique des "menus ouvrages" (petits objets en argent).

Poinçon de Maître : Poinçon en losange avec les initiales C.M. et le symbole d'un navire (ou ancre stylisée).

Identification : Ce poinçon correspond à l'orfèvre Charles MARSEILLE, actif à Paris (170 rue Saint-Maur) entre 1886 et 1910.
