Elegante secchiello per il ghiaccio in argento 800, dotato di fondo rimovibile per la raccolta dell’acqua di fusione.

Il bordo superiore e quello inferiore sono decorati con un fregio ornamentale.

Il secchiello è caratterizzato dalle seguenti misure:
- Diametro superiore: circa 11,8 cm
- Diametro del fondo: circa 7,5 cm
- Altezza: circa 10,8 cm
- Spessore al bordo: circa 1,5 mm
- Larghezza complessiva con manici: circa 15 cm
- Peso del secchiello: 236 g

Il fondo rimovibile, con impugnatura decorata, presenta un cerchio traforato del diametro di circa 8,2 cm, spessore di 0,5 mm e peso di 50 g.

Il peso complessivo del secchiello con il fondo è circa 287 g.

Il fondo conserva ancora l’etichetta originale del venditore “Argenterie Araldo” di Torino, Via XX Settembre 65.
Il marchio “800” è impresso sul fondo del secchiello, mentre l’elemento rimovibile reca il marchio sulla faccia superiore del cerchio traforato.

In possesso della mia famiglia sin dagli anni ’50, si ritiene che il secchiello sia stato prodotto nello stesso periodo. Non essendo mai stato utilizzato, si presenta in molto buone condizioni complessive, con lievi segni del tempo.

Il lotto comprende anche una pinza per il ghiaccio, con decorazioni simili a quelle del secchiello.
La pinza non reca marchi, ma la patina originale, visibile prima della pulitura, suggerisce che sia anch’essa in argento.

- Peso: 63 g (non incluso nel peso complessivo del lotto)

Le ultime due foto mostrano il secchiello e la pinza prima di una pulitura leggera, per evidenziare la patina originale dell’argento.
