Leo Setz

Lode Sebregts is een Antwerps schilder en affiche-ontwerper die zich toelegt op portretten, landschappen en stillevens.

Hij maakt zijn debuut onder invloed van de art deco en het modernisme maar evolueert al snel naar een impressionistische/ expressionistische stijl. Die is vooral voelbaar in de losse toets die hij hanteert in zijn landschappen. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog is hij getuige van een nieuwe artistieke bevrijding en experimenteert hij zelf ook steeds meer in zijn werken. 

Sebregts was leraar in het SISA en aan de Studio Herman Teirlinck.

Werken van zijn hand bevinden zich onder meer in het KMSKA, het Museum Plantin Moretus en het Letterenhuis
