Sleeping Men This painting is part of my ongoing series of sleeping men. In these works I explore a state of vulnerability, where strength and control are temporarily surrendered. The men depicted are caught in a moment between presence and absence, between awareness and dream. Their bodies rest, yet they also seem exposed – unguarded, almost fragile. By showing them in this intimate state, I want to challenge the traditional image of masculinity. Sleep becomes a metaphor for trust, surrender, and the quiet human need for safety. This series is not only about rest, but also about identity: who are we when the masks fall away, when the world is silent and we are left alone with ourselves? Het schilderij wordt veilig opgerold in een stevige koker verstuurd. Dit voorkomt schade aan de verflaag en hoeken en maakt verzending wereldwijd mogelijk. Na ontvangst kan het eenvoudig door een lijstenmaker op een spieraam worden opgespannen en gevernist , zodat het direct klaar is om te hangen.
