What a great find, a pineapple leaf table lamp in an excellent original condition! This classic Maison Charles (attr.) design combines the warm glow of brass alongside black onyx stone. A brass & onyx plinth supports a beautifully decorated brass urn containing brass leaves from a pineapple. The quality casting is rich in detail and has a decent weight. The lamp carries the original gold metallic silk shade with an embroidered ribbon just above the bottom side of the shade. The lamp frame is topped with a decorative gold gilt finial. The armature carries 3 standard small screw light bulb fittings (E14). There is a switch on the cable. The lamp is in full working order and ready to use.
