A rare original chromolithograph poster in the Art Nouveau style, this work by Louis-Jules Mimard is a decorative panel depicting the allegorical representation of the four seasons. The artwork features four female figures, each surrounded by elements and flora symbolic of a specific season.

Louis-Jules Mimard (born May 19, 1868) was a French artist and designer, primarily known for his work with porcelain, especially with the renowned Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres.

The work showcases the characteristic elements of the Art Nouveau movement, such as asymmetrical, sinuous lines and natural motifs including flower stalks, vine tendrils, and organic shapes. The print is signed by the artist.
