Mythologischer Tafelaufsatz – Bronze-Tazza nach Schinkel, um 1900!

Dieser fein gearbeitete Tafelaufsatz aus patinierter Bronze, gefertigt um 1900, ist ein beeindruckendes Beispiel historistischer Kunst mit klassizistischem Anspruch. Die à-jour gearbeitete Schale zeigt ein filigranes, durchbrochenes Rankenornament mit eingearbeiteten Flussgöttern, die sich harmonisch um eine stilisierte Zentralrosette gruppieren. Der elegant gestaltete, ornamentierte Rundfuß verleiht der Komposition Standfestigkeit und feine Balance.

Die Form geht zurück auf einen Entwurf von Karl Friedrich Schinkel, der ursprünglich für einen Eisenguss konzipiert war. In Bronze ausgeführt, erhält die Tazza besondere Tiefe und Ausdruckskraft.
