Sanyo Data Recorder DR-202A – Japan – ca. 1980s 

Zeldzame Sanyo DR-202A datarecorder uit de vroege jaren tachtig, ontworpen voor het opslaan en laden van computerprogramma’s via cassettebandjes. Dit type recorder werd veel gebruikt met MSX-computers, Commodore-systemen, ZX Spectrum en andere homecomputers uit het begin van het computer­tijdperk.

De recorder maakt gebruik van het ADSS Phase Control System (Automatic Data Synchronizing System) om data-overdracht stabiel te houden – destijds een van de meest betrouwbare systemen op de markt.
