Murr - Kohlmeise - 1950s

Decorative natural history educational board from the mid-20th century, illustrated and signed with MURR.

The motif shows the great tit, masterfully depicted in fine color drawing – true to detail, lively, and in that calm beauty that characterizes old school illustrations.
Printed on woven canvas paper (canvas print), framed at the top and bottom with original plastic strips.

Such charts once served in biology lessons and are today sought-after living witnesses between science and art.

An authentic original from the 1950s/60s — lovingly preserved, full of naturalist poetry.
Condition:

With gentle age-related patina. Small wrinkles or edges of time are present, but without impairing the motif.
