Französischer Salontisch im Stil Louis XVI
Frankreich, Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts (um 1880–1890)

Runder Salontisch aus edlen Hölzern, reich dekoriert mit feiner Marketerie aus Palisander, Amarant und Tulpenholz sowie Einlagen aus Halbedelsteinen (Lapislazuli, Bernstein und Onyx) in floralen und geometrischen Mustern. Der Rand der Platte ist mit einer Perlenbordüre aus vergoldeter Bronze gefasst. Kannelierte Beine mit vergoldeten Bronzeschuhen (Sabots).
Ein elegantes Beispiel der französischen Ébénisterie des späten 19. Jahrhunderts, das klassische Strenge und dekorativen Luxus vereint.
