Cassettone Direttorio a due cassetti – probabile origine francese – fine XVIII / inizio XIX secolo

Elegante cassettone a due cassetti riconducibile allo stile Direttorio, di probabile manifattura francese. Il mobile, realizzato in noce, presenta un piano in lastra unica, caratteristica che ne valorizza ulteriormente l’autenticità e il pregio. Gli interni dei cassetti sono in rovere, a conferma di una costruzione solida e duratura.

Il mobile è stato oggetto di restauri nel tempo, eseguiti in modo da preservarne le caratteristiche originali. I due cassetti sono privi di maniglie e si aprono a tiro, come da tradizione per il periodo. Entrambi sono dotati di serrature differenti, ma mancano le chiavi: una chiave è presente e permette l’apertura del secondo cassetto, ma non aziona la serratura.

Strutturalmente in ottime condizioni, il mobile presenta come unico difetto una bocchetta danneggiata sulla serratura del primo cassetto, probabilmente a causa di un'apertura forzata in passato. Le bocchette sono in legno di acero, dettaglio raffinato che aggiunge valore all’insieme.

Dimensioni: altezza 88 cm x larghezza 123 cm x profondità 54 cm.
Condizione: Buone condizioni generali con segni del tempo e lievi difetti compatibili con l’età del mobile.
Restauro: Restaurato in passato, pronto per essere collocato.
