Série Sonny Angels

Attiré depuis toujours par les mannequins de vitrine, qui lui semblent l’interroger, il commence à les photographier en 1994. Près de 10000 clichés plus tard, il présente son travail depuis 2006 sur son site Internet et développe environ une exposition par mois depuis 2007.

Pour ces « Girls In Town » photos réalisées sans superposition, « il cherche à percer le mystère et l’âme de ces belles esseulées, qui comme un miroir de nos propres vies, nous renvoient l’image de ce que nous sommes... La plastique idéale de ces femmes idylliques symbolise le rêve et le luxe d'un monde illusoire plus que parfait… ».

Au delà, son univers tourne autour des reflets, de la réalité réfléchie, comme un autre monde miroir de la réalité. Ses matières sont le verre, l’eau, le plastique, le chrome, les miroirs et la lumière. Il développe des séries de photos autour de ces thèmes. Il photographie les villes, les animaux, les ombres, les gens, la nature…

Interpellé récemment par des poupées Japonaises de collection « Pullips », et des Anges Japonais « Sonny Angels » David Law trouve matière à prolonger son regard sur ces modèles uniques, mis en scène dans les rues de Paris ou d’ailleurs... Si Vivants !

Artiste Photographe il propose aussi toutes prestations (modèles, comédiens, musiciens, expositions, reportages... Il est depuis 2014 le photographe et vidéaste attitré des organisateurs de salons d’Art Contemporain tels que Art3F, Art Shopping, Le Smart, Expo4Art, Art Home Expo...
