Beschrijving (Nederlands)

Zeer fraaie en authentieke Gillette “New Standard” safety razor set, geproduceerd in de Verenigde Staten rond 1920.
Een klassiek model uit de vroege periode van de moderne scheermesontwikkeling – elegant uitgevoerd en voorzien van een verfijnd diamantpatroon op het handvat.

De set bestaat uit:
	•	Vernikkelde Gillette safety razor met originele markeringen Made in U.S.A.
	•	Origineel metalen mesjesdoosje met Gillette-logo
	•	Enkele originele papieren mesjesverpakkingen
	•	Originele lederen (of kunstlederen) opbergdoos met paars fluwelen interieur en witte opdruk “Gillette – New Standard”

Afmetingen doos: 9 × 5 × 3,5 cm
Datum: 13 januari 1920 (volgens patentvermelding)

De buitenzijde van de etui vertoont lichte gebruikssporen en wat slijtage aan de hoeken, maar het interieur en de metalen onderdelen zijn mooi bewaard gebleven.
Een bijzonder en compleet stuk scheerhistorie, zeer geliefd bij verzamelaars van vintage Gillette-sets.

Conditie: goed, met sporen van ouderdom (zie foto’s – maken deel uit van de beschrijving).
