In this lot: A beautiful smoky blue and black Megalodon tooth from Sukabumi, Java, Indonesia. Size: 12,3 cm Quality: There are no repairs or restorations done on this piece! The tooth itself is completely intact. The serrations and tip are very sharp and have no chipping. Especially the serrations on the front are beautifully visible. The enamel only has 2 minor hair fractures on both lower sides. The color is a beautiful black and dark blue and has a nice smoky glow. The display side of teeth is a deep dark blue / black. The tip on the front is beautifully grey to dark blue. The bourlette that is visible has a complementing darker black color. The enamel on the display side has a few very slight splits but is very smooth and shiny. The front has almost no splitting and looks stunning. It runs down all the way to the root. Something that is a bit rarer with Indonesian Megalodon teeth. The color is a beautiful black to more blueish tones The root is exceptionally bulky on the display side and has a grey tone.
