Sassafras is the seventh bottling born from the partnership between Luca Gargano and Richard Seale, which began in 2016. It is a blend of rums distilled in different ways: in a double-pan still on one side and using a traditional Coffey column on the other. This blend rested in bourbon casks for 3 years before continuing its aging for another 11 years in casks that previously contained cognac at the Foursquare distillery. Bottled without reduction, Sassafras is faithful to the principles and methods of the distillery.
