Russian Orthodox icon depicting Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, finely painted in tempera on a wooden panel with kovcheg. The saint is shown frontally, rendered in rich red and green vestments, holding the Gospels in his left hand while blessing with his right. Christ and the Mother of God appear in the upper corners presenting the Gospel and omophorion, referencing the Miracle of Nicaea. The gilded background with incised halos and polychrome border reflects traditional 19th-century craftsmanship. Verso bears an old handwritten inscription and structural battens. Partly restored.
