The purfling has been painstakingly inlaid front and back. This violin is in a good used condition, with some old repaired cracks on top, but no cracks on back and sides, old ebony set up, Pirastro strings, new master made bridge. Beautiful model with a very elegant natural amber patina, very high quality of woods. The tone is powerful, sweet, rich, clear as a bell and focused with many colors to work with. We bring collectors, musicians, and enthusiasts together from around the globe to explore a curated selection of exceptional instruments. There are valuation certificates from our company available for extra charge Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind.
