Ein antikes Medaillon, das eine geschnitzte Figur enthält.

Details zum Objekt 
* Objekttyp: Ovales Medaillon oder eine kleine Schatulle, die zum Öffnen gedacht ist.
* Material: Die Außenseite ist aus goldfarbenem Metall gefertigt. Das Innere der Schatulle, in dem die Schnitzerei ruht, ist mit einem blauen Stoff ausgekleidet.
* Die Schnitzerei: Im Inneren befindet sich eine fein gearbeitete, cremefarbene Schnitzerei im Profil. Die Locken und die Darstellung weisen Ähnlichkeiten mit klassischen Darstellungen auf, wie beispielsweise Putten oder mythologischen Figuren. 
* Funktion: Medaillons dieser Art wurden oft als Schmuck getragen oder als Andenken und Erinnerungsstücke aufbewahrt. 

Sie stammt aus dem Nachlass meiner Eltern / Großeltern und ist ca. 1850 entstanden. 
Diese Miniatur ist nicht bearbeitet, gereinigt o.ä. damit der Originalzustand deutlich wird.
Die Fotos vermitteln einen guten Eindruck und sind als Teil der Beschreibung zu verstehen.
