De Dual 1218 is een 3-speed volautomatische, idler-wheel draaitafel uit 1971. 
Deze Dual platenspeler staat bekend om zijn robuuste bouwkwaliteit en nauwkeurige techniek. De belangrijkste kenmerken zijn de drie snelheden 33,45,78 rpm, een automatische start- en stopsysteem, een verstelbare toonarm met anti-skating, en een pitch control. De draaitafel heeft een solide, gedempte plaat en een snaaraandrijvingssysteem voor stabiele rotatie.
Het subchassis, bestaande uit draaiplateau en toonarm, is zwevend opgehangen met veren, waardoor deze minder last heeft van vibraties van de motor en van buitenaf.
Het mooie originele Shure M95 element met goede naald is er ook nog bij.
Extra erbij is een meeloop arm die het stof van de plaat haalt.

Zoals is te zien is dit een zeer mooi bewaard gebleven exemplaar. Zelfs de stofkap is nog in erg mooie staat.
De speler is van binnen en buiten geheel gereinigd, nagekeken en van nieuw vet voorzien.
Alles werkt 100%.
