6th Edition - 1873 The Moabite Stone/ The Substance of Two Lectures - 1873

1873 The Moabite Stone/ The Substance of Two Lectures Such a rare publication!! The Moabite Stone (or Mesha Stele) is a basalt stele from around 840 BCE, famous for its inscription detailing King Mesha of Moab's victories over Israel and his religious devotion to the god Chemosh. Freemasons see parallels between the stone's themes of construction, rebuilding, and faith and Masonic symbolism, while historical figures like Charles Warren who were involved in the stone's discovery also had ties to Freemasonry. The stone's significance lies in its historical and religious content, which is used symbolically within the philosophy of Freemasonry, not as a direct historical origin. Please note that if you wish to have your parcel sent as a “gift” rather than a “sale,” please inform me. This may result in the avoidance of additional customs fees. However, please be aware that this option may also lead to a longer shipment time, approximately an additional 2-3 weeks. * All of my objects are from my family’s private, used collection by true Masons. * Please be advised that parcels may be damaged, delayed, or subject to additional fees due to local courier transportation, customs checks, taxes, and other factors. * The recipient is solely responsible for paying the customs charges, duties, or taxes applicable to the destination country. * Parcels will be held by customs until any outstanding payments are made. Failure to make payments may result in the parcel being returned, delayed, or, in certain cases, destroyed. If a parcel is destroyed, no refund will be issued. * Refused, unpaid, or parcels with incorrect addresses will be returned to me. This process may take up to a month, and the parcel will only be resend to the buyer once the full postage fees have been remitted.
