Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (Venetië, 4 maart 1678 – Wenen, 28 juli 1741) was een Italiaans violist, priester en componist. Hij is vooral bekend van Le Quattro Stagioni (De vier jaargetijden), een cyclus van vier vioolconcerten, maar heeft meer dan 700 composities op zijn naam staan, in vele instrumentale en vocale genres.
