Offered here is an original Yonezawa “Laughing Robot”, made in Japan in the early 1980s. This is the black version, which is considerably rarer than the more common blue model. The robot is made of plastic and features a distinctive, charming design typical of Yonezawa’s craftsmanship from that era. The robot is in very good cosmetic condition, showing only minor signs of age, but is not in working order. It comes with its original box, which shows some tears and stains due to age (please refer to the photos as part of the description). This is a wonderful addition to any vintage robot or Japanese tin toy collection.
