Rare Pair of Ottoman Brass Powder Flasks – 19th Century (c. 1880–1920) A rare and beautifully preserved pair of Ottoman powder flasks, dating approximately to the late 19th – early 20th century (c. 1880–1920). These flasks were traditionally used by Ottoman soldiers and hunters to carry gunpowder. Today, such matching pairs are difficult to find, especially in this condition. Each flask features a solid brass body (approx. 12 cm) decorated with traditional Ottoman geometric and floral motifs, reflecting the artistic craftsmanship of the period. The original leather straps are still intact — a detail that adds significant value and authenticity, as leather rarely survives more than a century in this condition.
