Kodak Cartridge No. 4. Early Kodak roll film camera that was also suitable for glass plates with a glassplate adaption and both are present. This version is from the years 1900-1903, with the socalled Triple action shutter. The red bellows are light-tight. The original shutter is the very early so-called “triple action” shutter that still functions well. Rising front for correcting paralax distortion. This version is for both roll film, still has the original wooden roll film spool and included is the plate back with two 4 x 5 inch plate holders. No groundglass.  Backside opens by means of a lever on the right in the bottom of the dropbed. It also has a built-in tripod for vertical pictures in the bottom of the dropbed. Camera in excellent cosmetic condition.
