KONVOLUT ! 2 alte prominente Briefkorrespondenzen mit Kronen Wasser-Prägesiegl im Briefpapier aus dem Jahre 1793 & 1804 beide Exemplare sind an die bekannte und einst renommierte Seidenhändler Familie Nikolai Zumstein & Vincent Zumstein (nach 1800 dann "und Söhne) gerichtet. Brief v. 1793 gesendet nach Kempten & somit noch dem damals regierenden Stift KEMPTEN der Fürstäbtlichen Residenz (1651 bis 1802). Oben Rechts Datiert Anno 1793 mit kleinem roten Wachs-Siegelfragment.

BRIEF von 1804 ebenfalls an die Familie von Zumstein, hier mit der Adressierung Zumstein & Söhne in Kempten. Verfasst in Lindau.

INFO-QUELLE (Zumstein Museum Kempten & Wikipedia): Die beiden Brüder Johann Joseph Zumstein (geboren 1742 & verstorben 1822) sowie Johann Nikolaus Zumstein (1757-1832) entstammen dem Adelsgeschlecht der Savoyer & der Welschen Dynastie in Verbindung der Adelsfamilie von Vincent. (daher im Briefkopf Zumstein & Vincent). Gegründet in Kempten 1784 unter dieser Firmierung. Beide Brüder stammen aus dem Aostal im Allgäu und handelten im 18. Jahrhundert mit edlen Seidenstoffen. Der jüngere Bruder Nikolas war neben dem Geschäft ein leidenschaftlicher Bergsteiger und ging in die Geschichte ein als dieser mit noch 63 Jahren 1820 ein Bergmassiv in den Waliser Alpen bestieg als erster. Bis heute trägt dieser Berg des "Monte-Rosa-Massiv" seinen Namen "Zumstein Spitze".

ZUSTAND: alle 2 Exemplare wurden noch in Handarbeit damals handgeschöpft aus Leinenstoffpapier hergestellt und von den Absendern ( 1 x aus Hof und 2 x aus Lindau) mit schwarzer Tusche und Feder verfaßt. Trotz des beachtlichen Alters alle in hervorragenden Erhalt! Siehe Fotos.
