Massive Twin Quartz Geode – 7.14 kg
Natural Split – Cathedral Interior – Morocco

This remarkable quartz geode, weighing a total of 7.14 kilograms, has naturally split into two perfectly matched halves, revealing a breathtaking crystalline interior. The cavity is lined 360° with lustrous, water-clear quartz points that glisten against a soft satin-white chalcedony base, offering dazzling reflections from every angle.

Both halves feature a delicate array of micro-crystals—like frost on glass—interspersed with larger prismatic terminations that extend dramatically into the void, creating a deep and immersive visual effect. The outer surface maintains a rugged, pale beige matrix that contrasts beautifully with the sparkling interior.

Composition: Quartz (SiO₂) druzy over chalcedony

Formation
This geode formed when silica-rich hydrothermal fluids infiltrated an ancient gas bubble within volcanic rock. Over time, repeated crystallization cycles deposited concentric layers of chalcedony and quartz, resulting in this radiant “cathedral” of natural architecture.
