A very fine antique 4/4 violin, labeled Vincent Panormo rue d l'arbre-sec, Paris 1793. The instrument is in ready to play condition with tears, wears, old repaired cracks on top, old ebony set up, new bridge and Savarez strings. The violin has an excellent straight high grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of strongly flamed maple with matched sides, neck and scroll. Rich golden amber varnish with some tears shows an amazing wooden choice. The whole length of the violin is 595 mm and the back 360 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 113 mm; lower bouts: 208 mm. Full size. The sound is very sweet, rich, powerful, suitable for soloist. Shipping by DHL or FedEx is possible and would be claimed according to your personal requirements
Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind.
