AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Manual focus telephoto lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1975. This is the second version of the lens. This version added "M" in the name and changed the optical formula to equal that of the Elmarit-R version of the lens. The built-in lens hood also changed from a two-part design to a single extendable tube. It has permanently attached goggles to zoom the finder's field of view to match the 135mm focal length. The viewfinder magnification is lifesize on the M2, M4, M5, M4-2, M4-P, and M6. On the M3, it is 1.4x. It has a front lens head that unscrews for use with the Visoflex system. In 1976, lens lens was changed to use E55 filters instead of the Series VII filters. Metal body available in black (11829)
