Opal glass center blown with pink interior veining, art nouveau form, gold filigree and white enamel, produced by Johann Loetz Witwe in Bohemia around 1888–89.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Opal glass center, folded from the inside with pink veined glass blown and worked with the tool.
It has an elliptical shape forming a multi-lobed opening made with the clamp.
The decoration consists of a gold border from which delicate gold filigree and white enamel extend inward and outward. It is unique because, due to its shape, the veining and decoration are on the inside, while the opal face is on the outside.
On the brand of the puntel, there is a paper label with the inscription 'CRISTAUX DE BOHEME. PAS - GE .... NCES' surrounding a crowned lion.
Decorations called 'CARNELIAN'. They belong to the series 'MARMORIERTES GLAS', such as Carnelian itself, Onyx, Malachite, Hellmarble, Lapis Lazuli, etc.
Manufactured by the manufacturing of JOHANN LOETZ WITWE at their factory in KLOSTERMUHLE, BOHEMIA. Around 1888 - 1889.
